Carola’s Quilt Shop opened in Gibsons BC Canada in 2005. Today Carola is operating temporarily as a home based business while she is on the hunt for the next chapter of Carola’s Thread Company & Quilt Shop. Look forward to NEWS about the new locations in 2019
Carola’s Quilt Shop has Wheels
You will find Carola giving lectures, trunk shows, hands on classes at Quilt Guild shows, meetings and retreats and at sewing shows across B.C. and Alberta. Her Mobile Quilt Shop is packed and ready to roll at least 15 times a year! Check our Events page to see when she rolls into town next!
You can also contact Carola to book an event for your group.
Carola’s daughter Alaina was born into a Sewing and Quilting environment. As a crawler she was an A-1 pin picker upper. The “sewing machine bug” bit Alaina hard. Today she has a collection of Vintage Toy Sewing Machines and a Singer Featherweight Collection. We can’t say how many machines are in the collection, she wont divulge that number in her mother’s hearing. Contact Alaina if you have any questions about your sewing machine collectibles. She may be able to fill in a little history about your treasure.
Carola says, “Alaina has been an asset when it comes to colour. She is responsible for all the beautiful colour coordinated fat quarter collections. I knew I could count on her after the first time she organized my machine embroidery thread drawer. It looked like a rainbow!”
